Hi everyone, I wanted to give you an update on my upcoming debut novel. Eagle-eyed followers may have noticed my bio having changed from ‘Coming 2023’ to the rather vaguer ‘Coming Soon’. When you self-publish, you are essentially doing the work of twenty people at once and there is a lot to learn. A LOT. Especially if you have my kind of brain where if I even glance at the ‘big picture’ I immediately become incapacitatingly overwhelmed (this is why I can’t play chess). Added on top of this, 2023 has been a distractingly tumultuous year with our landlord deciding to sell our flat and us subsequently buying it, so I am a bit behind with my publishing plan. My debut novel, the contemporary fiction/fantasy The Selfish Dead really is coming soon, I just can’t guarantee how soon. I am hoping to do a cover reveal in the near future. So please stay tuned!
